Rep. Sue Myrick’s Top 10 List For Islamofascism

A couple weeks ago, Rep. Sue Myrick revealed a 10-step plan to aide in defending our nation from the influx of islamofascism. That plan is (as described by one commenter, PMK) being quietly buried by our compliant media as well as our politicians…
The plan also seems to have gotten the tightie-whities of one Jibril Hough [...]

SFChron: Moford’s Vicious Attack on Laura Bush

-By Warner Todd Huston
Laura Bush, docile doormat Behold, the ideal Republican wife: Prim, sexless, nearly useless, lets the men do the real thinkin’. Hot!
Yes, that was the headline for Mark Moford’s column in the San Francisco Chronicle today. Not only does the very title of this screed of ignominious proportions rip into the first [...]

Days of Rage in Chicago - Dohrn & Ayers 1969 Weathermen

This is a post by my mom, Julia, over at Stix Blog

In my last post I referenced the Days of Rage - put on by the Weathermen AKA Weather Underground in Chicago, October, 1969.  I was in Chicago a few days later with my 2 little kids to get visas to travel to Korea for [...]

Why Won’t Whites, Jews, and Catholics Vote for Obama?

Despite the endorsement of Senator Robert Casey (D-PA), Barack Obama lost the Pennsylvania primary by a 55-45 margin. In Luzerne County PA, a traditional Democratic region whose demographics include factory workers and the descendents of immigrant coal miners (many Catholic), Obama lost by a three to one margin. Why does Barack Obama have so much difficulty in getting white people (and especially Catholics and Jews) to vote for him? Let’s give “Barry” some hints and see his likely conclusion.

Barack Attack: Was It Too Little, Or Too Late?

Well, it looks like the racist preacher that Obama could no sooner disown than his own grandmother, has finally been tossed under the bus. Obama spoke harshly of Rev. Wright the other day during an impromptu press conference. But was his speech enough to save his candidacy? And did it come soon enough?
I for one, [...]

Two Recent Success in WOT You Didn’t Hear About in the Media

-By Warner Todd Huston
The Taliban suffered a big loss in Pakistan/Afghanistan this month and so did al Qaeda in Iraq, but the MSM has been practically silent on these great successes. It only goes to show that the media is so completely sold on the claim that the war is lost that they aren’t interested [...]

A Savage Idea–And It’s Worth a Look

On my nightly drive home, I listen to Savage. I don’t always agree with him, but sometimes he has an idea worth repeating and getting out there. This is one of those ideas and it deals with the gas pump prices.
It’s short, sweet, to the point–and could work. It would break OPEC’s monopoly on foreign [...]

The Plight of Barack Obama-The Contortionist

“I can no more disown Rev Wright and my church than I can my own white grandmother who raised me.”
“I was not present when these statements were made.”
“Was I present in the pew when some of those statements that many would consider controversial were made? Yes.”
“I was not present during those statements, Larry.”
“I am outraged. [...]

Orphans Of The Corn: Stop The Massacre

Just a few days ago I gave my rant about biofuels, and included an article by Arnaud de Borchgrave. As it looks, neither Arnaud’s or my article were far off track. Actually, they were pretty dead on. That Biofuels were of particular fault in the economic and humanitarian crisis being felt around the world.
As it [...]

Southern Delight Mint Julep

The Mint Julep is a drink that requires special presentation….
This drink brings forth the ideal image of  genteel gatherings sprinkled with that slow soothing southern drawl.. Just thinking about The Kentucky Derby makes one long for a sip from a silver julep cup. Easy to make, the Mint Julep will boost [...]

Free Speech For Chaplains: Executive Order Needed

So, for about the last four years or so, Military Chaplains have been taking heat over invoking the name Jesus in their prayers. Slowly at first. But now becoming commonplace. About a year and a half ago, it was supposed that this issue was being dealt with. Apparently, it didn’t happen after all.
I delved into [...]

A great victory against voter fraud

Yesterday, the Supreme Court issued a ruling in the Indiana Voter ID case.   And they ruled against corruption and fraud in elections.  Hopefully we can get a Voter ID bill here in the Democratic Republic of Chicago and finally get rid of the dead and dogs voting in our elections.  I doubt it,it is the [...]

Amy Tan presents on Creativity

Amy Tan has obviously dwelt in the recesses of creativity that I know so intimately well.  In watching this presentation, It was as if I had found that individual who rode out that storm with me, and laughed and cried relieved as it abated, then missing the clap of thunder and driving sound of rain [...]

New York Times Attacking Textbook Makers, Veiled Attack on Capitalism

-By Warner Todd Huston
College textbooks are overpriced and something should be done. Why, Congress should even step in! That is the message that The New York Times wants us to understand and I can’t say it is, in and of itself, entirely the wrong message — save the whole bit about Congress stepping in, of [...]

What Muslims Really Think by Dinesh D’Souza

This was a rather interesting article I came across on TownHall.com today. And one can only “hope” that it’s a correct assessment found there in. But from personal experience with the Muslim communities, (both home and abroad,) I have the same thought as one of the commenter’s; “It will take more than a few surveys [...]

Islamic Shari’ah Banking, Is It Invading America?

-By Warner Todd Huston
The Daily Record in Baltimore, Maryland recently published a story by Brendan Kearney that oddly seems to present a conflict between a bank employing Islamic Shari’ah law with its American investments and some black American borrowers and painting it as a racist issue. Sadly, the real story, that of Islamic law being [...]

Vultural Jihad: Barack Says We Are All Liars

~Snooper~
Back at ya, Skippy! He sure does like to step into what ever pile of defecation there is lying about as he twaddles and waddles around like the lost puppy which he is. If he would just not bring up the issue about his extreme lack of Patriotism it would more than likely go away. [...]
