WHAT CONSERVATIVES MUST DO
Now that the election is is almost a month behind us it is time to move forward and take action to preserve conservative values. We can take two courses of action as we move into the future. We can give up and keep passing sob stories to each other about how awful things will become, or we can move forward and take positive action to move the people in our communities to join us as we seek to preserve our rights, freedoms, and the traditional American values that made this country great.
There is simply too much at stake to just sit by and allow the liberal left to run over the majority. We must begin by asking a simple question. What did the liberals do when they lost control in Washington?
We have witnessed the complete take over of the House, Senate; and and the White House by the liberal Democrats. We may see the Senate become filibuster proof in the next few weeks. as the result of runoff elections, and recounts. We will see the appointment of liberal judges to our federal court system that will result in legislation from the bench. I again ask, What did the liberals do when they lost control?
Did they sit back and moan or pack up and go home? Did they give up and decide that all was lost? No. they began a movement that gave them a voice even though they were not the majority party. The one thing that they did well during their demise was to stand up and fight through protests, lobbying, letter writting, and getting involved in grassroots movements to get the legislation that they wanted passed. The result was Roe v Wade and a host of other bad laws that were not the will of most Americans.
We as conservatives have a unique opportunity to hold this congress and the White House in check also by taking an active role in grassroots activities just like the liberals did in the past. We must hold Congress accountable during the next session, and watch every move that they make. When they seek to destroy the foundations of this nation through bad laws, and pork spending we must write letters, make phone calls, and support movements that seek to preserve our American values. The liberals have taught us well that the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
We have been told that during the first few days in office President Elect Obama will overturn many past policies with executive orders. Many of these executive orders will change the way we treat abortion, off shore drilling, and civil liberties. It is our duty to stand up now and voice our descent. It is time now to let the President Elect and Congress know that we do not agree, and that most Americans don’t want these changes either. Our conservative legislators may be a minority during the next session, but with direct pressure on them we can cause them to stand up and fight for traditional American values, and what is good for this country.
We must also stand up for our Troops, and Veterans. They must know that America supports them. We must let the President, and Congress know that we don’t like the idea of cut and run. We want to achieve victory in the War On Terror. Our Troops need the tools to do their job, and they need to win.
We have to stand up against any change that will move America into socialism, and a collective society. The redistribution of wealth is not the answer because a free market society works, and it is not the role of government to create jobs or dictate to private businesses how they should operate.
We have our work cut out for us during the next few years. We can win and take back America, and preserve it for our children. We must win. The left has taught us how to fight, and we must stand up and do just that. Any member of Congress that fails to listen must know that the next election will be his or her last.
We have to educate the people in our communities, friends, and family what are the real American values, and the importance of our great Constitution. We must preserve the original intent of the Founders of this nation.
Most of all we must remember that we still live in a representative government, and we have a voice. We must use that voice or loose that voice. Get involved to keep America the beacon of the world. Now more then ever each of us needs to stand up for what is right, and get involved from your local government level all the way up to the Office Of The President Of The United States.
The liberals want to bring a failed system of government to this great country. Socialism has never worked, and it cannot be allowed to become an experiment here in the United States Of America.

Conservatives must maintain their core values, and stand up for what America stands for. We cannot allow those that wish to compromise with the left to take over and sell us out. We need strong leadership that believes in conservative principles and are willing to defend them.
Conservative lawmakers, and elected officials must continue to hold on to the conservative platform, and provide strong leadership.
Amen Emery and Happy Thanksgiving to one and all. We conservatives are a now-awakened sleeping giant and the adversary has instilled in us a fearful resolve!!!!
What about uniting as a country and being willing to work with the other side? Why divide the country when we could stand together in time when we really really need that? Is pride really a worthy cause to lose what we could gain in unity?
