Obama and The Black Vote

How is it that so many Black’s are finding themselves voting for BarackObama simply for the reason that he is Black?  Those that are doing so are completely ignoring policy, American tradition, Biblical beliefs; and are voting for what is being heralded as ”Change” and history.

When asking relatives, friends, and others what this election means to them I am shocked at the response.  For many all they can see is the chance to put the first Black President in the White House.  Nothing else matters.

A very common response also is that Barack Obama is carrying the weight of the whole Black community on his shoulders.  No policy, political view or religious belief matters.  The dominate thought is that we must elect him to the White House so that we can have our chance to run this country, and get what is ours.

It is often said that 99 to 1 in the Black community will vote democrat in any given election.  The reason why so many follow a political party that has done absolutely nothing for them except hold them down is beyond logical thinking.  The liberal democrats have done more to damage progress in the Black family and culture then any other group in America.  Will Barack Obama change this?

In the past, the civil rights leaders have all been associated with the liberal thinking left wing of the democrat party.  All of the items on the civil rights wish list for the past fifty years are still being advocated today.  The only thing new that Barack Obama brings to the table is that he offers socialism as a way to appease.  Many Blacks see this as a chance to take from the rich so that the poor can have a chance and get a piece of the American pie.

So, they blindly follow a man that makes promises that if carried out will destroy the economic backbone of this nation.  They welcome these socialist promises without any thought as to how they will affect them, or the current economy.  They don’t care if it means giving up rights and the destruction of our U.S. Constitution.

Blacks for the most part are overlooking the background and past history of Barack Obama.  They don’t care about his past relationship with shady characters such as Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, and others.  They fail to see that the same Barack Obama who wants to redistribute wealth fails to do anything to help his own impoverished family.  Reason should lead one to conclude that the same would apply to the general population.  However Obama states that “I am my brothers keeper.”

Keeping the historical argument in mind, Blacks should ask themselves if Obama is elected will he be good for America or will he be an historical embarrassment.  Having a record of being the most liberal Senator, a work history of just over 140 days during his time served in the Senate, and a very poor voting record, one must conclude that Obama could very well end up as the one person to hurt any other Blacks from ever achieving a national position.

Obama defies all that most Blacks believe in.  He is for abortion, even in its worst forms.  He supports partial birth abortion, and even letting an aborted child die if it survives the procedure.  Obama has attended a very racist and nontraditional church for 20 years that teaches a very dangerous Black Liberation Theology.  He claims that he did not know.  He attended events with known terrorists and others that want to harm the United States.  He refuses to release any documents about his past life.  His policies are Marxist / socialist, and he supports a global tax for poverty and most of the other liberal United Nations agenda.  Does any of this sound like the kind of man that Black Americans can be proud of ?  Can anyone in America that loves his or her country be proud of Barack Obama once the truth about him is revealed ?

So what do we do this November 4, 2008?  I suggest that we vote to preserve the American dream.  We do not need to elect a person to become President that has no faith in our current Constitution.  We need to present the truth to all people so that they can make an informed vote.  We need to educate people about the dangers of socialism, and expose those that wish to destroy our great nation by replacing capitalism, and the free market with socialist ideas.

We need to reach out to Blacks that believe in America so that they can reach out to others and inform them about the lies and mysteries that surround Barack Obama.  Together we can keep our country the America that is a beacon for the world, and a safe place for our children.
