Amnesty For Illegals… Again: I Told You This Wasn’t Going Away
As surely as I’m sitting here typing this, elements in Washington D.C. are once again clamoring for an Amnesty moratorium. Even ‘Mr. Walking Foot in Mouth Disease’ Harry Reid has managed to stammer out another call for Amnesty between his recurring gaffes. And Reid doesn’t seem to believe there will be any fight whatsoever this time. Interesting. He said the same thing last Amnesty, when he was seen scooting away, tail tucked firmly between his legs. Unfortunately, he could actually be a little closer to correct this time around, as McCain has already had a publicized ‘meeting’ with Obama.
So say hello to a newly legalized, nationalized, Americanized, low wage work force. More than happy to continue driving the unemployment rates in America, upwards. Especially among the Hispanic-American workforce. Yeah, Hispanics in America (Legal American Hispanics, that is) already have a fairly high unemployment rate as it is. Upwards of 9%, as compared to other ethnicity’s. As it stands, there’s about 7 million jobs in America that are ‘temporarily’ tied up with illegal alien occupancies. I say temporarily, as in any amount of those could be deported at any time. But to permanently tie those jobs up, it wouldn’t be good for the economy is all I’ll say for now.

First, I visited Numbers USA to send a fax. Then I created a new post and a new page. The page has a few basic arguments followed by a large, bold profane execration. The execration is a named anchor so that it can be linked to directly. I then created a blog post, <a href ]"http://snooper.wordpress.com/2008/12/02/reject-al...Alien Amnesty!. The post contains a link to Congress.org and directions for sending an email to the President, your Representative & Senators. I also included html code to copy and paste into the email to give the recipient a direct link to the big bold rejection of amnesty.
My Congressman replied with a form letter stating his support for the SAVE Act. He is a co-sponsor, but he refuses to sign the discharge petition required to get it to the floor for a vote. I then created another post exposing his deception. That post received one visit from Congress.
