A Prayer request
I usually do not ask for anything on this blog or any of the blogs I post on. But I have a request. My sister-in-law’s niece is in need of some prayers and is in critical condition. She fell from a cliff and was flown to a nearby hospital.
She is only18 and has a whole life time ahead of her. I only met her a few times, I walked her down the aisle at my brother’s wedding a few weeks ago, but she always was full of energy.
So if you can, keep her in mind and say a few prayers for her.

Teen in critical condition after Klondike Park fall
ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH

An 18-year-old woman was in critical condition Tuesday night after falling off a
rocky cliff at Klondike Park earlier in the day, authorities said.Jake
Gregory, 18, of St. Charles County, was flown by helicopter to St. John’s Mercy
Medical Center in Creve Coeur after she fell at least 40 feet on some rocks
while descending a bluff in the park about 3:15 p.m.Augusta Fire Chief
Bob Struckoff said Gregory and another girl, 16, also of St. Charles County,
were near the top of a cliff when Gregory fell and landed near a
tree.Struckoff said there is loose shale rock at the top of the cliff.
“If you step on the wrong piece or whatever, I guess it’s down you go.”
Authorities said Gregory suffered a broken wrist and head and facial injuries
and was unconscious when help arrived.Gregory and the other teen
apparently had walked to a lookout atop the cliff when Gregory slipped and fell,
said Marty Limpert, a spokesman for the St. Charles County Ambulance District.
Paramedics and firefighters lowered her another 20 to 30 feet with a basket used
to stabilize people during rescues.Klondike Park is about 45 miles west
of St. Louis along Highway 94 just off the Katy Trail. The 250-acre county park,
which opened in May 2004, has several miles of paved and natural trails with
campsites, a lake, picnic areas and lookout points over the Missouri
River.Jordan Wilson of the Post-Dispatch contributed to this

Dear Heavenly Father,
We commit to you this young child into your grace,
Your comfort and care.
We pray for miracles that abound in your pressence,
We pray for restoration of the fragile mortal coil,
Hold the family and friends up as they fall into your arms,
Lift them in comfort, grace and understanding.
Onto your arms we fall when we are reminded of our mortality,
Life so precious, and faith so powerful
We turn to Thee for our salvation and comfort during these tajedies and lift up your name in praise!
Amen
Thanks
my family appreciates it.
Stix…
I just stumbled across this…
I pray that the LORD guides the surgeons’ and other caregivers’ hands, and that Divine healing, mental, spiritual, and physical is the order of the day.
In Jesus’ name!
Amen!
