The Defeatocrats approved of waterboarding
At least they did back in 2002, when Waterboarding was not the ire of the Looney Left and the Nutroots. Back in 2002 4 Congress critters including Nancy Pelosi, went on a CIA tour of some of the facilities that held captured Al Queda terrorists and saw what kind of techniques were used on the prisoners. Waterboarding was one of the techniques that was used to get information from the prisoners, and one asked id the techniques were rough enough. So, you see that the whole hulabaloo over waterboarding if just another example of the Defeatocrats pandering to the Nutroos and Looney Left that have taken over their party. They will stoop no low to keep the Looney in their party satisfied, because they own the party and will vote anyone that deosn’t tow the line out. This should make for an interesting election next year, the DUmmies are already up in arms and are wanting to send Pelosi to the Hague.

In September 2002, four members of Congress met in secret for a first look at a unique CIA
program designed to wring vital information from reticent terrorism
suspects in U.S. custody. For more than an hour, the bipartisan group,
which included current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi
(D-Calif.), was given a virtual tour of the CIA’s overseas detention
sites and the harsh techniques interrogators had devised to try to make
their prisoners talk.Among the techniques described, said two officials present, was
waterboarding, a practice that years later would be condemned as
torture by Democrats and some Republicans on Capitol Hill.
But on that day, no objections were raised. Instead, at least two
lawmakers in the room asked the CIA to push harder, two U.S. officials
